From Laura Corsiglia about her work:
“Drawing can be chasing clues into the unknown with a line and looking around. Sometimes we can bring back news.
Aftermath is the name of these recent drawings on black, piercing-peeking through the ash of a real fire.
There may be birds hiding behind them or flying above them. I’m watching for these.
Two works from the before times are here talking to us today. Thank you for seeing and being in conversation.”

Live music during Closing Event. Featuring: The Ponies of Harmony
“The Ponies of Harmony purpose is to connect with audiences through heartfelt original songs about community, friendship, gratitude for the earth and life, and of course love and the human condition. James and Katie play guitars, trombone, clarinet and bass clarinet and sing solo and in harmony on a wide range of styles. The Ponies’ instrumentation lends itself to interesting combinations so that even with a small group we have a ball creating endless combinations of sounds.”

Dissect and Mend
September 5th-November 15th 2026
“The process of collage is foundational to my practice. Collage is combining and layering imagery, whether separate wood or linoleum blocks, or pieces of paper. I dissect influences, ideas and literal layers to see what happens when I mend, print, glue, layer the artwork back together. It is a process before meaning approach as I might only have a germ of an idea, or a quick sketch, at the beginning. The work in the current exhibition focuses on thematic work having to do with the concept of Place as seen in the body.”

“The liberation of perception from habitual reality — a removal of inherited images so that imagination can re-form the world anew.”
